Borsalinos Praceta Joao da Costa Reis, Lote 4 We have been recommended other Italian restaurants but we always return to Borsalinos; plus it is located a short walk from the apartment (on the way to Lidls). The pasta and pizzas are superb and we rate this Italian above all of the others that we have tried. The Goats cheese and walnut salad starter is great and large (we share one between two) and I always opt for the seafood pasta. I am not a great dessert lover but the home-made, chocolate mousse is not to be missed (it is very rich). Directions From our apartment ground entrance, turn left, cross the road and then take the 2nd right turn at the end of the series of white buildings on the opposite side of the road. Continue along this road for about 3-4 minutes on foot and you will come to Borsalinos (it is quite close to the Lidl’s roundabout). Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday 12.00 to 15.00 and 18.30 to 24.00 – Closed on Sundays Tips: They offer a great lunchtime deal for €6.90 (pasta, dessert and a beer or wine)
