Reis is one of our firm favourites and one that we visit on every trip without fail. It is a family run restaurant, in the historical centre of Lagos, serving authentic local dishes. The service is very attentive and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are very generous. Our favourite meals are the specials such as monkfish, prawns and rice which arrives in a huge clay pot for 2 to share, the sauce that it is cooked in is unbelievably good. We have also tried the pork with figs which is also excellent. There is seating indoor and outdoor, the outdoor is much more atmospheric if the weather is warm enough.
